Thierry Hulot, MBA, is Vice President, Head of the CEO Office for Merck Serono. Mr. Hulot is also a member of the Pharmaceutical Executive Committee.
Thierry Hulot joined Merck Santé in 1995 as head of Pharmacokinetics based in Lyon, France. He was thereafter appointed team leader for an antidiabetic project, then Director of Global Early-Stage Projects and Project Management within the Merck group. In the early days of Merck Serono, he was instrumental in implementing the Project Management Center of Expertise function supporting R&D projects. He has led the President’s Office since January 2010.
Thierry Hulot started his career in Drug Metabolism with Synthélabo in Paris, France in 1989.
In 1987, he graduated in Pharmacy and in Drug Metabolism (Rene Descartes University and Paris Sud University, France) and in 2000 he obtained a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from Ashridge University in the UK.
Thierry Hulot is married and has three children.
